Our Story
Preserving the heritage of authentic Indian flavors.
Roots in Tradition
The reason the Rupee symbol (₹) is displaying as a question mark (?) is that Dompdf's default core fonts (like Helvetica, Times, or Courier) do not support the Unicode Rupee character. Additionally, Dompdf needs to be explicitly told to interpret the file using UTF-8 encoding. Here is how you can quickly fix this by adding a UTF-8 meta tag and switching the font family to DejaVu Sans (which is built directly into Dompdf and supports the Rupee symbol).
